The Staff Representative Congress is an important practice of democratic management and democratic supervision of the company, and also a key measure for the trade union to fulfill its duties of serving and uniting employees. To further protect employees’ rights and interests, gather joint efforts of staff and boost corporate development, Jiahe Food convened the 6th Session of the 4th Staff Representative Congress and the 3rd Session of the 4th Trade Union Member Congress on April 10. 48 staff representatives and trade union member representatives from all subsidiaries and departments participated in the meeting.
The conference opened in a solemn atmosphere. Staff counted the number of attendees on site and confirmed that the meeting complied with statutory procedures. The conference first carried out the by-election of interim trade union committee members. Upon unanimous show of hands by all representatives, Qian Shenghua, Manufacturing Manager of Golden Cat Factory, was elected as a member of the Trade Union Committee.
Subsequently, Gu Qiang from the Internal Audit Department delivered the 2025 Trade Union Fund Audit Report on behalf of the Trade Union Fund Examination Committee, reporting the revenue, expenditure, application scope and management performance of trade union funds in 2025. The report indicated that over the past year, trade union funds had been administered in strict accordance with financial management systems, with reasonable, open and transparent allocation. All funds were precisely invested in priority tasks including employee welfare guarantee and trade union construction, effectively supporting the smooth operation of all trade union work.
At the meeting, Zhou Yuejun, Chairman of the Company Trade Union, presented the 2025 Trade Union Work Report. The report comprehensively reviewed fruitful achievements of trade union work over the past year, elaborating on concrete measures and results in safeguarding legitimate rights and interests of employees, enriching staff cultural life, and promoting harmonious corporate development. It emphasized that the trade union has always centered on serving employees. Adhering to Jiahe Food’s corporate vision of Making Life Healthier and More Delicious, the trade union has organized skill training, cultural and sports activities, hardship assistance and other diversified programs, effectively enhancing employees’ sense of belonging, happiness and gain. It has gathered strong momentum for high-quality corporate development and fully fulfilled its role as a connecting bridge, acting as the trusted “home” for all employees.
Finally, the conference proceeded to the democratic deliberation on institutional revisions. Liang Lei, Training Manager of the Human Resources Department, and Zhang Quhan, Performance & Compensation Manager, elaborated on revised contents of the Training Management System, Compensation Management System and Regulations on Allowances, Subsidies and Welfare Management, and fully solicited opinions from all representatives. With a highly responsible attitude towards the company and employees, all representatives conducted careful review and full discussion, and the institutional revision plans were unanimously adopted.
The smooth convening of this staff representative conference unified ideology, clarified development directions and built consensus.
